Quite possibly the most exciting car to be unveiled at the Frankfurt 2009 Motor Show is the Audi R8 e-tron might only be a concept, but the impact it will have on the market is undeniable. With four motors powering the R8 it really does encapsulate the spirit of the Quattro name. And with a 230kw of power and enough torque to dig up tarmac, the R8 will rocket from 0-60 in a mere 4.8 seconds, which is an astonishing feat for an electric vehicle.
This is a huge step forward for car manufacturers as these two hybrids are not only gorgeous, but they're proper cars. They look incredible and your UK car insurance provider might even lower your premiums because of their low emissions.
